Dr. Randolph Cross received his Bachelors from the University of California, Davis with a degree in biochemistry and briefly worked in the biotech industry before going to dental school at the University of California, San Francisco. After graduating dental school, he worked for a private practice in New Mexico, before becoming a community clinic dental director at Clinica de Salud del Valle de Salinas, then Salud Para La Gente in Santa Cruz, California. After nearly a decade of extracting teeth that could have been saved with a root canal, Randy decided to specialize in endodontics. During residency, Randy became interested in using biomarkers to track root canal infection and outside of the University, he developed a chairside test to determine when a root canal is clean. Randy recently graduated from his residency in endodontics at the University of Southern California.
Randy currently lives in Santa Cruz, California, where he can be found playing at the beach, skateboarding, and strawberry picking with his two children, Eleanor and Dylan, and wife Audrey.
