Dr. Don Tyndall

Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist

Don Tyndall is a Professor with the Division of Diagnostic Sciences at the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry (ASoD). He was the Director of Radiology for the School of Dentistry from 1988 to 2019 and creator of the ASoD’s graduate program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology serving as its Director from 1993-2006. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology serving as a Director and past President from 1995-1999. Currently, Dr. Tyndall is President of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Dental Association. He has authored or co-authored over 125 papers.
